End of the line

In this exhibition I made small sculptures and digital prints. The prints were from various textures scanned and adjusted in photoshop and printed out. The sculptures were made as part of a process:

I would go to Goodwill Outlet in Hamden, CT where everything is put in a 4’ x 8’ bin and everything costs 75 cents a pound (over 50 pounds). I would visit Goodwill, make selections, and then take it to my studio where things were sorted. Things I wanted to keep, trinket or a shirt. Things that I could sell at the local consignment store to support the travel and everything associated with the installation—all the expenses.

I would look for fabric to use in the sculpture so this is where I got all of the materials i needed to make the work. I sold approximately $3K of goods. Made 15 sculptures and several digital prints. Most everything sold out of the show so the premise and execution felt warranted.
